Gana Bhavan will be made into a memorial museum, decided in the advisory council

The interim government has decided to turn Ganobhaban, the residence of ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, into a July Uprising memorial museum.

On Thursday (September 5), the chief adviser of the interim government, Nobel laureate Dr. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Advisory Council (Cabinet) under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus. Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud gave this information in a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital after the meeting of the Advisory Council.

He said, Gana Bhavan will be converted into a July Uprising Memorial Museum. The memorial museum will be kept as it was during the July uprising. This important decision was taken in the advisory council meeting.

Asif Mahmud said, such a memorial was made in South Korea. It happened in other countries too. Knowing from them, Gana Bhavan will be made a memorial museum. There the activities of the fascist government will be displayed.
