The Meteorological Department has said that storms with a speed of 60 km can occur over 6 regions of the country including Chittagong. This information was given in a forecast given for the inland river ports of the country till 1 pm on Sunday (August 25).
In the forecast, it is said that over the areas of Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla and Chittagong, there may be temporary gusty or gusty winds or rain with thunder from the south or south-east at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour.
The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
Meanwhile, in most places of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions by 6 pm on Sunday; Many places of Dhaka division and some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience rain.
Apart from this, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience heavy rainfall.
