Hasnat Abdullah announced the cancellation of the concert

The 'rapper' concert has been postponed due to worsening flood situation and inclement weather in the country. As previously announced, the concert was scheduled to take place on Thursday (August 22) at the Raju Bhaskar located in the TSC premises of Dhaka University.

Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, gave this information in a Facebook post on Wednesday (August 21). At this time, he urged the flood victims to stand by their side.

In a Facebook post, Hasnat wrote, 'Tomorrow's concert at Raju Bhaskar has been postponed due to flood situation and inclement weather in the eastern part of the country. Now is the time to stand by the flood victims, everyone come forward.'

Coordinator Hasnat mentioned the role of rappers in this student-citizen uprising the day before and informed about the organization of 'rapper' concert. But the day after his announcement, the concert was postponed.

Incidentally, heavy rains in the eastern part of the country and floods from India have created a flood situation; Brahmanbaria's Akhaura land port flooded due to heavy rains. Water has entered at least 10 nearby villages. Almost all communication systems are isolated.
