The heat will gradually increase.
Meteorologist Shahnaz Sultana told the media, now the trend of rain has reduced a lot. It will decrease further. The temperature of the country will continue to rise from Sunday. And after the 15th, there may be heat waves throughout the month.
Meteorologist Manowar Hossain said that the temperature will increase from May 15. Then there may be rain in some places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet; But will decrease from other places. Today Saturday night temperature may increase slightly. Daytime temperatures may remain almost unchanged on Sunday. The temperature may rise in the next five days.
Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid said that the temperature in this month will not be as pronounced as in April. Because, in the meantime, it will rain some day. But by the end of May and the second week of June, the temperature will rise another step. Because, the rainy season starts from June 15. Before this, nature dries out. Then the temperature will rise.
Meanwhile, maximum rainfall of 23 mm has been recorded in Sylhet till 6 pm on Friday. Besides, more or less rainfall has been recorded in different parts of the country including Dhaka, Faridpur, Dinajpur, Mongla. In the next 24-hour weather forecast, it has been informed that there may be temporary gusty or windy rain or rain with thunder in many places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and in some places in Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.
Along with this, there is a chance of scattered hailstorms at some places. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain almost unchanged across the country on Saturday. In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature of the country was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius in Mongla.
This season, the heat wave starts from March 31. This situation prevailed for 37 consecutive days till May 6. However, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain since May 2. It was then said that the rains starting from May 2 will gradually spread across the country, and after May 7, the maximum temperature in the country will fall below 40 degrees Celsius. Since that glimpse, the trend of rainfall has been going on all over the country for several days.
