The Government Purchase Advisory Council Committee has approved a proposal for purchase of 5,000 metric tons of non -Basmati rice through international open tender in the current fiscal year to increase the food storage of the country.
On Tuesday (March 7th), the committee president of the committee said in the conference room of the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat. The proposal was approved at a committee meeting chaired by Salehuddin Ahmed. Committee members and senior officials were present at the meeting.

A total of seven proposals have been approved at the Purchase Committee meeting.
