In Gopalganj's Kotalipara, the banner and festoon of BNP was torn and burnt. However, BNP is settling the incident through arbitration.

A video of the incident on Friday (October 25) went viral on social media, sparking tension among BNP leaders and activists. The incident happened last Thursday (October 24) in front of Amtali Union Parishad of Kotalipara Upazila.

It is reported that Munim Islam (17), son of Noor Islam of Amtali village, Siam Khan (17) son of Litu Khan and Roni Mia (11), son of Monir Mia, of Amtali village tore down the BNP banners and festoons that were drawn in front of Amtali Union Parishad on Thursday night. Later that banner festoon was burnt.

President of Kotalipara Upazila BNP SM Mohiuddin said, 'Those who are doing this work are not minors. The result is being resolved through village arbitration. The families of those accused have already put up five banners. If the matter is not resolved through village arbitration, legal action will be taken later.'
