Inauguration of the spectacular Dakbungalow 'Sampan' on the beach in good evening

Deputy Commissioner Moha has inaugurated the first spectacular Dakbungalow “Sampan” at Barguna's popular tourist center Taltali Shubo Sandhya beach. Rafiqul Islam.

On Saturday (August 31) around 1.30 pm, the modern Dak Bungalow building adjacent to Shubo Sandhya Beach in Nishanbaria Union of Upazila was inaugurated.

Although this Shubha Sandhya beach became popular in a short time, the district administration took the initiative to build this dak bungalow thinking about the tourists as there was no provision for overnight stay for the tourists. In the planning and implementation of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sifat Anwar Tumpa, this postal bungalow named Sampan was built within the last one year with the grant money received from Divisional Commissioner's office, Barisal and District Commissioner's office, Barguna. This single storey building has two bed rooms with drawing-dining space. Besides, space has been earmarked for an amusement park, modern barbeque restaurant and parking, which will be constructed in phases.

Deputy Commissioner Moha was the chief guest. Rafiqul Islam said, the purpose of its construction is to build an aesthetic tourist center around the beach. Projects have been undertaken to protect sea-beaches in the long term. This bungalow will contribute to tourism based employment and socio-economic development. He called on private entrepreneurs to build these beach-centric hotels and motels.
