BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has commented that India has broken its promise of democracy by sheltering Sheikh Hasina.
On Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Ziaur Rahman's shrine in Sherebangla Nagar, the newly appointed Major (retired) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed and Dr. BNP Standing Committee. He said this while paying tribute to AZM Zahid Hossain.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the fascist dictator murderer Sheikh Hasina fled the country through the student revolution. Unfortunately our neighboring country gave him shelter. From there, Hasina started a conspiracy to thwart Bangladesh's victory. The people of this country do not underestimate Sheikh Hasina's crime. The last 15 years of mismanagement have weakened the independence of the country. He has saddled the nation with a debt of 18 lakh crore rupees. About 100 billion dollars have been smuggled.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam said that India has broken the promise of democracy by sheltering such a criminal. I request India to respect the law and hand over the criminal to Bangladesh government.
Regarding the election, Mirza Fakhrul said that this government is a government of mass uprising of students. Their main function is to transfer power to a democratic government through elections. It will take some time to clean up the mess created by the previous Awami government. The people of this country will give the time required for that.
