Internet Cannot Believe What Man Built Inside His House: ‘Drop the Address’

Perhaps the last thing that one would expect to find, or even want, in a house is a giant roller coaster that extends through it.

Drew Dirksen, known online as @drewdirksen, took the bold decision to install one in his own home. The creator gained viral attention online after sharing a short video of himself demonstrating how the ride works to Instagram. The post, which was uploaded on June 26, has since been liked more than 1.5 million times.

Viewers were able to see the content creator whiz through his home on the long and winding track, which extends through the ground floor of his property’s interior and out of its front door. The roller coaster continued on into the woodland outside of Dirksen’s home.

Viewers could see the creator raising his hands up in excitement as he sped through his property, akin to how you would see a theme park fan scream with joy while on their favorite ride.

The roller coaster track appeared to have been created from wood, while Dirksen was able to travel on it, sat upon what looks to be a skateboard with extra hooks that attach to the track. The ride appears to come to a natural halt in the woods, without straying too far from Dirksen’s home. An overlaid text on the video read: “I built a roller coaster in my house!”

Dirksen’s unique installation has drawn in plenty of comments from viewers online, many of whom have shared their funny takes on the bizarre home addition.

The post had been captioned: “What do you wanna do today Ferb?”

“Drop the address, I wanna try,” one user, @rehabwithgk, posted.

Another, @fransjeking, added: “There’s 104 days of summer vacation and school comes along just to end it so the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it….LIKE MAYBE.”

A third user, @thedadsocial, shared: “I need to build one!”

“Wait this is so cool,” another, @nihitparikh.in, wrote.

“Now this is how you summer,” @carismaxo commented.

“I am following you for this rollercoaster,” @the_witch_crafts, posted.

Dirksen has over 1.1 million followers on the platform, where he shares parts of his life, alongside the occasional skit. The creator is also active on YouTube.
