Inu at the DB office, interrogation is going on

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) is interrogating Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSAD) president and former Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu after his arrest.

According to DB sources, a DB team arrested him from Uttara's house on Monday (August 26) afternoon. After the arrest, he was taken to the DB office in a microbus. There are several cases against Inu, including a murder case. Extensive inquiries are being made regarding his involvement in these allegations.

It is also known that tomorrow Tuesday (August 27) he will be brought to the court with a remand application.

Media and Public Relations Department of DMP informed that Hasanul Haque Inu was arrested in a case of Newmarket police station. A murder case was registered against him at New Market police station of DMP on August 21. Case No-4.

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police Joint Commissioner Md. Rabiul Hossain Bhuiya said that after the fall of the Awami League government on August 5, several cases have been filed against Hasanul Haque Inu in different parts of the country. He was arrested in a case of Newmarket police station.

Earlier on Thursday (August 22), Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Workers Party president and former member of Parliament Rashed Khan Menon from Gulshan in the capital.

Incidentally, Jasad president Hasanul Haque Inu, a member of the Awami League-led 14 party, has been elected as a member of Parliament for three consecutive times with the boat symbol. He was once in charge of information minister of the government.
