Israel agrees to the US ceasefire proposal

Several countries in the Middle East, including Qatar, have held several rounds of meetings with Israel's top officials to implement a ceasefire in Gaza. However, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu has added all the difficult conditions to enforce the ceasefire every time. The effective issue of ceasefire has been challenged.

Blinken said he had a very productive meeting with Netanyahu on the ceasefire. There, Nyanyahu told him that he accepted the cease-fire offered by the United States. Now if Hamas accepts it, there will be no more war in the region.

“It is now up to Hamas to bring relief to the Palestinians in Gaza by releasing Israeli prisoners,” Blinken said. This is the decisive moment. No better opportunity could possibly be found for the repatriation of prisoners of war and the establishment of a lasting peace.'

Qatar has been mediating since the beginning to enforce the ceasefire. So Blinken will now go to Qatar. And will go there and talk about the ceasefire with Qatar and discuss the next steps. Blinken will visit the Middle East nine times in 10 months after the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

A part of the mediators, however, thinks that the ceasefire agreement will be done this time. However, as a result of the tension between Israel and Iran, many people fear that this conflict will increase.

At the end of this week, a ceasefire will be discussed in Egypt. Before that discussion, however, Netanyahu warned that no one should do anything during the discussion that would derail the process.
