Jabiprabi Student Shuja provides safe food

Some stop at just dreaming, and some rush to make the dream a reality. BM Shuja Uddin, a student of the Department of Food Engineering at Jessore University of Science and Technology (Jabiprabi), is one of the adamant brave people.

The family was not lacking, because the father was the head teacher of the government primary school. But Shuja had a different thirst in the house; The dream is to build something of yourself, to be an entrepreneur. So in the fourth year of Honors in 2021, he started the business with a capital of only Tk 5,000.

The journey started with a friend of one and a half thousand and one and a half thousand rupees from an older brother, through Facebook pages and groups, today, turned into a trusted organic and healthy food.

For the last 5 years, this walk is only going online. Then one day he boldly arranged a few products inside a table inside the campus. That table became an offline form of his dream. Today it is known to everyone as 'Suzus Food Heaven'.

It was very difficult to handle his studies and business in the beginning. If there was no class or exam in the order, he would deliver himself to Jessore city and campus. Send to another district to courier. Gradually, partners and employees are added to the shop, it brings some relief. However, it is not possible for Sirius to study in the dream of fulfilling the dream, but he has continued regular class-examination. Because he knew that even though there was some shortage in the results, experience in the way to fulfill the dream was a great asset.

The cooperation of friends has played a special role in his path. Beyond that, the university also received motivation. The opportunity to set up stalls on campus or the experience of attending the entrepreneur's fair has made him more determined.

Today, he is paying his own expenses, paying employees and investing in a new business by earning Tk 5,000 a month. Although the economic pressure has not been fully overcome yet, Shuja Uddin is a firm believer- this pressure will strengthen him and move forward.

Shuja said, “My path was not easy. It was a shame to sit in my shop at first, sometimes I was confronted with embarrassing conditions. But by conquering everything in the mercy of Allah, I can say with pride- I am pleased with my work.

His dream is to build a safe diet outlet and create more employment in the future. In the meantime, he thinks that one of the biggest successes is the beginning of his employment.

Speaking to other students, he said, “If you have a dream of being an entrepreneur, start working in a small range along with study. Work with a product that you know about, good source and that you can enjoy working on it. It will be useful in time, the experience will increase.

Shuja Uddin may not be a big businessman, but his story is big. He has proved that life does not change only when he dreams of a job. Dreaming is to start differently, to start with courage. It is a story of his courage, a dream story, a story of himself.
