Jaishankar's courtesy call on the Prime Minister

India's Union Minister and former Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her residence on Monday.

After the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Hashan Mahmud said in a press briefing that Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Jaishankar Bandhupratim discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in detail.

He said, they expressed their desire to further promote this relationship in the coming days.

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh congratulated Jaishankar on becoming the Minister of India and invited him to visit Dhaka.

Jaishankar said that the relationship between the two countries has reached a new height.
