Jamaat will not take revenge on anyone: Shafiqur Rahman

Amir of Jamaat commented that the politics of violence and revenge should end. Shafiqur Rahman. He said, in the last 15 years, we have been attacked and tortured. We as a party will not take revenge on anyone. I have forgiven everyone. However, if any victim wants to take legal recourse, we will support them. He said these things in an exchange meeting with journalists at a restaurant in Tejgaon of the capital on Tuesday (September 3).

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we could not hold any public program for the last 15 years. We will not hold anyone responsible for why we could not come forward. There is no need for others to practice evil.

He said, the nation should be united. People want their just rights, not mercy. Bangladesh needs big minded people to rebuild it.

Regarding the journalists, he said, the journalists of the past were locked in their mouths. Their pens were suspended. Could not write independently. But now everyone is awake. We will work with your support in the coming days, inshallah.
