James Goldman is the new British Deputy High Commissioner in Dhaka

James Goldman has been appointed as the new Deputy High Commissioner and Director of Development at the British High Commission in Dhaka. The British High Commission informed this information in a message on Tuesday (August 20).

The new Deputy High Commissioner said, I am delighted to join the British High Commission, Dhaka and look forward to working with the Interim Government. Because this government is working to restore peace and order for the people of Bangladesh, ensure accountability and pave the way for an inclusive, prosperous and peaceful democratic future.

It should be noted that James was Consul General in Erbil, Kurdistan region of Iraq before his current duty. He was Chargé d'Affaires at the British Mission, Muscat in 2022-2023.
