Lara Trump has been mocked for unveiling a new loyalty card featuring Donald Trump.
Lara Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, touting the new cards, which feature an image of the former president in the top left-hand corner with his signature underneath.
In a video, she said: “All right folks if you are watching this today then I have an offer you are going to love. You are looking at the very limited edition Trump black card.”
“Listen to this,” she added, tapping the card with her finger. “This sucker is metal folks we have limited quantities of this card if you want to prove that you are a true Trump Republican, if you want to prove that you want to make America great again, you want to join us in this fight and get your hot little hands on one of these puppies today, then you are watching the right video. Come join us, come be on the team, come get your Trump black card right here.”

It isn’t clear what the purpose of the cards is or how much they cost.
Commentators on social media mocked Lara Trump for the video. Newsweek contacted the RNC by website form to comment on this story.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, the campaign group Republicans against Trump wrote: “The grift never ends with this bunch. Never.”
Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of the liberal media site Meidas Touch, said: “The Republican Party is in the hands of carnival barkers, hucksters, grifters and con artists. The “limited edition” Trump black card. And the rubes keep sending them their money.
The METAL Trump Black Card is for the top 1% of True Trump Republicans.

Another X user with over 8,000 followers said: “There is always another grift.”
Alex Cole, a software engineer with over 130,000 followers wrote: “Trump really thinks his supporters are stupid and gullible, and he’s right.”
However, she did receive support from her allies. One X user said: “Very cool. Where’s mine??”
It comes as Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for the presidential election, has stepped up his campaigning ahead of the November ballot.
He has been hampered by having to appear in court for his high-profile hush money trial and reports have suggested he is behind Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in terms of his fundraising.
In April, the incumbent president’s campaign told NBC News it had hired 300 staffers across nine states and 100 offices in parts of the country that will influence the election. Donald Trump, on the other hand, did not disclose campaign staffing levels.
Biden has also fundraised more than double the amount of Donald Trump, who has amassed substantial legal bills from his numerous cases.
In 2016, the Donald Trump campaign similarly sold black cards for $35. But a Yahoo Finance reporter, Rick Newman, claimed at the time that when he ordered one it didn’t arrive.
