The Board of Directors of National Life Insurance Company Limited (BGIC), a listed company in the insurance sector of the capital market, has released the unaudited financial report for the first quarter of the current financial year (January-March, 2023). According to published reports, the profit per share of the company increased by 2.82 percent during the quarter under discussion.
On Sunday (May 26), this information was revealed on the website of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE).
The dividend decision was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the last financial year in the meeting of the company's board of directors held earlier on Thursday (May 23).
In the first quarter of the current financial year, the amount of life fund of the company stood at 5 thousand 379 crore 43 lakh taka. In the same period last year, the amount of life fund was 4 thousand 847 crore 26 lakh taka. In other words, the fund of the company has increased by 532 crore 16 lakh rupees.
