Looting money to trap fake gold, destitute day laborer families


A youth named Md. Sujan Saju (30) has been accused of looting the money of a family of day laborers by trapping fake gold in Thakurgaon. The defrauded family is left destitute.

The accused fraudster Saju is the son of Md. Ahidul Islam of Akcha area of ​​Thakurgaon Sadar. The victim of fraud, Dola Begum, is the wife of deceased Taherul Islam of Mandirpara area of ​​Thakurgaon.

On Sunday (April 28) morning, the victim woman Dola Begum presented her complaint to the journalists. Earlier he filed a complaint with Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station. A woman lost her husband. Since then, it has become difficult for the woman to stay in her own home.

According to the complaint, once Saju appeared at Dola Begum's house with some fake gold ornaments. At that time, he stole 59 thousand rupees with this gold ornament. When Saju was contacted after learning about the fake gold, he admitted it and wanted to return the money. But after that, when I tried to contact Saju again, he started abusing me.

The victim woman Dola said, I don't have a husband. A boy drives an auto. He had collected auto car installment payments. Saju took that money. Now every day my son asks me to leave the house. I have been sleeping outside the house for a long time. I have also filed a police complaint. But Saju threatens me and tells police that you are doing very bad things. I have news for you. The police can't do anything to me.

Several attempts were made to contact the fraudster Saju to discuss the matter but he could not be reached.

Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Firoz Wahid said that we have received a complaint in this regard. The police are working to investigate the matter.
