Married by helicopter to fulfill mother's wish

To fulfill his mother's wishes, a Jordanian expatriate youth went to get married in a helicopter at Kotalipara in Gopalganj.

On Friday (April 24) at noon, Satish Madhu's son Milan Madhu of Narkelbari village of the upazila went to Mahishmari village of Madaripur Rajair upazila by helicopter to get married.

According to local sources, Milan Madhu's mother Lalita Madhu had a dream that her son would take a helicopter to get married. He informed his son about such a wish. Milan Madhu's marriage is fixed when he comes to Narkelbari village from Jordan. Then he started trying to fulfill his mother's dream. The helicopter landed at Narkelbari High School ground on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, hundreds of eager people from the surrounding area gathered to see the helicopter. From there, he boarded a helicopter and went to Mahishmari village of Madaripur Rajair Upazila to get married. The bride is a college student Prerna Sarkar, daughter of Palash Sarkar of that village.

Milan Madhu said, “I have been living in Jordan for 15 years. I am the youngest among three brothers and one sister. My mother wanted me to get married in a helicopter. To fulfill my mother's wish, I got married in a helicopter on Friday.”

Milan Madhu's mother Lalita Madhu said, “To fulfill my wish, Milan is going to get married in a helicopter today. I am very happy. My son Milan is coming on Sunday.
Will return home by helicopter again with Bouma.

Former UP member Vijay Madhu said, “My nephew about Milon. He got married in a helicopter to fulfill his mother's wish, so we are happy. This is the first time in our area to get married in a helicopter.”
