Meeting on 'Israeli Occupation: Struggle for Liberation and Today's Reality'

A round table meeting titled 'Israeli Occupation: Liberation Struggle and Today's Reality' has been organized in Dhaka today against Israel's barbaric killings in Palestine.

On Tuesday (May 28) afternoon, under the initiative of Al Quds Committee Bangladesh, Dr. Shahid of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) building. This round table meeting was organized in Shamsul Alam Khan Milan meeting room.

President of Al Quds Committee, Chairman of the Philosophy Department of Dhaka University. Professors, researchers, politicians, social workers, journalists, writers and other thinkers were present in the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Shah Kauchar Mustafa Abululai.

Speakers at the event said that in 1948, the illegal state of Israel was created in the Middle East by the conspiracy of Britain and the United States. It is a poison for world humanity. Since its inception, they have been treating the Palestinian people mercilessly. In modern times it has reached extreme limits. They have killed more than 36,000 men, women and children and injured thousands of people in the Gaza war that started in October last year. The habitat has been completely destroyed and has turned them into refugees. It is even creating obstacles in reaching them with relief materials. In this situation, humanitarian people of the world have woken up. People from all over the world are protesting in solidarity with Palestine and Israel's crimes against humanity. On the contrary, most of the countries of the Muslim world, especially the Arab countries, are keeping silent, which is very sad. Only Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran are giving all kinds of cooperation and support to the Palestinian freedom organization Hamas. And because of this, positive reactions are being observed in other countries of the Muslim world. International organizations, including the United Nations, are trying to play a role in Palestine.

The speakers expressed optimism that if the Muslim world could forget all differences and play its due role in unity; Then the liberation movement of Palestine will gain more momentum and soon Palestine will be able to achieve independence.
