MV Abdullah will arrive in Dubai today

The Bangladeshi ship MV Abdullah, freed from Somalia pirates, is scheduled to anchor at Dubai's Al Hamria port this afternoon. Coal will be unloaded at this port and new products will be loaded on the ship. It will take about two weeks. Then the ship will leave Dubai for Bangladesh.

The ship is reaching its destination 32 days behind schedule due to hostages.

Meanwhile, a group of ship owners went to Dubai on Saturday (April 20) to talk about various issues including welcoming the released ship captain and 23 sailors and bringing them to the country. However, two of the sailors can come to the country by plane and the others by ship after a month, according to the owner's source.

Mizanul Islam, media advisor of Kabir Group of Chittagong, the ship owner, said that MV Abdullah will enter outer anchorage tomorrow (today) afternoon. The next day will anchor in Al Hamria port. Various ancillary activities will be completed after the coal discharge.

When asked about the return of the sailors to the country, Mizanul Islam said, 'Out of the 23 people, two are scheduled to come home by plane. Another 21 will come by MV Abdullah. It may take a month for them to come home. These decisions have been taken after talking to the sailors. Everyone is healthy. '

Incidentally, MV Abdullah along with 23 sailors was captured by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean on March 12. The sailors and the ship were freed from the hostages of the bandits at around 3 o'clock in the morning of April 13. Then depart for destination Dubai.
