Bangladesh Navy joined the fire service in the incident of fire in a cloth godown in Demra Bhangapress area of ​​the capital.

Shahjahan Shikder, Assistant Deputy Director of Media Department of Fire Service, confirmed this information on Friday (March 22) morning.

It is known that 10 units of fire service and two units of the organization are working to control the fire.

Meanwhile, it has been informed by the police that the police is assisting the fire service in controlling the fire. Earlier, the fire incident took place on Thursday (March 21) at 11:30 pm. As the intensity of the fire gradually increased, the number of fire service units was increased. It was reported that ten units are working to control the fire by the fire service around 3:30 p.m.

Talha bin Jasim, an officer of the fire service media cell, said that a fire broke out in a cloth godown on the third floor of a four-storey building in Demra's Bhangapress area. Five units of Demra, Postgola and Siddique Bazar fire stations have reached the spot and are trying to control the fire. Gradually the unit was increased to ten.

Initially, the fire service official could not give any information about the cause of the fire and the casualties.
