NCP is not in vandalism politics with Indian High Commission

National Citizen Party (NCP) chief coordinator Naseeruddin Patwari has clearly stated that they are not in the politics of vandalizing the Indian High Commission or engaging in any kind of violent activities.

He highlighted this position in a press conference organized at the central office of NCP at Banglamotor in the capital on Friday (December 19) night.

Nasiruddin Patwari said, NCP believes in non-violent, democratic and responsible political movement. Those who engage in provocative acts of vandalism, violence or attacks on diplomatic installationsβ€”are the real forces against the country's interests.

He called on the countrymen and said that the 18 crore people of Bangladesh should not step into any provocation and express their position on the streets in a peaceful and democratic manner.

He also said in the press conference that those who want to divert the movement to different sectors through sabotage, attack journalists or try to attack different embassies – they must be resisted. At the same time, he requested everyone not to see these people as enemies and try to bring them back to the mainstream of the movement through awareness.

According to Nasiruddin Patwari, the country's crisis can only be overcome through unity, restraint and democratic practices rather than violence.
