NCTB Chairman has resigned

Contractual Chairman of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) resigned. Farhadul Islam.

“I submitted my resignation letter to the Education Secretary yesterday,” he said on Tuesday (August 20) morning.

When asked about the reason for his resignation, Professor Farhadul said, “Actually, the situation in the country… I resigned with honor before canceling my contract.”

On February 14, 2022, the government appointed Professor Farhadul Islam as NCTB chairman. As he retired shortly after this, he was appointed on contract basis in two phases. He was appointed for one year in the second phase on July 28 this year.
