Order to join MPO to third degree teachers under eight conditions

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (MAUSHI) has ordered 726 tertiary teachers appointed through the governing body at the degree level of various private educational institutions of the country to join the MPO. Appointees are getting this opportunity till December 31, 2016. But eight conditions are given for them.

On Thursday (August 29), Maushi Deputy Director of General Administration Vipul Chandra Biswas signed a letter regarding the MPO enrollment along with the list of teachers.

According to the letter dated March 13, the Ministry of Education has requested that the tertiary teachers appointed by the governing body at the degree level of various private educational institutions be included in the MPO subject to the fulfillment of the conditions.

The conditions are:

1. The degree level in the educational institution should be under MPO.

2. According to the policy, the third teacher should have the required qualification and experience at the time of appointment and should be employed as per the rules.

3. According to the instructions of the circular issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on April 1, 2023 AD, the information collected online in Banbase must be compared with the information stored in the database of the teachers and employees of the educational institutions. If the database is not correct, no third teacher can be included in the MPO.

4. According to the instructions of the letter dated October 19, 2016 of the Ministry of Education, the third teachers appointed by December 31 of that year must be included in the MPO.

5. No third teacher can be newly appointed in an institution where no third teacher has been appointed.

6. According to the policy, the subject-wise desirable students in the institution should be as per the admission information of the National University. However, if any teacher who does not currently have the desired students cannot be enrolled in the MPO, he can be enrolled in the MPO with the permission of the Ministry if the desired students are filled later.

7. According to the policy, after MPO enrollment of qualified tertiary teachers, the report with name, title, name of educational institution and number of students of these MPO teachers should be sent to the ministry within the next 6 months.

8. The institution should have the desired number of students (subject wise). Otherwise the person will not get MPO.
