Panchagarh registry office pen stop for copyists

Copyists of Panchagarh Registry Office held pen stoppage demanding nationalization of jobs. They held this program on the third floor of the district registrar's office on Tuesday (August 20) at noon.

Bangladesh Extra Mohrar (Naklonbish) Association Panchagarh District Branch General Secretary Shahidul Islam spoke in the program.

Shahidul Islam said, 'When the government comes to power, it promises to nationalize the jobs of counterfeiters. However, the result is nothing. We are an important part of the registry office, but we have been deprived for a long time. Today we have a pen break. If our demands are not met, more programs will come.'

Supporting the program, Mujibur Rahman, chief assistant of the district registry office, said, 'Counterfeiters earn by working hard in the office. Government gets revenue through them. They need to meet this logical demand.'
