After the resignation of Sheikh Hasina in the face of the quota movement on August 5, there were rumors of resignation among the officials in charge of various universities. Dinajpur's Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology (Habiprobi) is not to be left out.

The Vice-Chancellor sent his resignation letter to the President on August 9. On the same day, the university's proctor, director of the student counseling and guidance department resigned. After that, other teachers in various administrative responsibilities of the university also resigned gradually. As a result, there is a chaotic situation in Habiprabi without an administrator. All activities of the university have come to a standstill.

It is known that the hall was opened on August 12. Class activities started yesterday Sunday (August 18). While classes are going on in some faculties and departments, class activities have not started in most of the departments. However, they said that they will start the class activities soon. However, the university bus was running.

When contacted with the machinery and transport department, they said that from now on, the bus will run according to the regular schedule. However, if any critical situation arises, the bus will be stopped.

Central library of the university and TSC were open. A coordination team consisting of teachers has been formed in the university to overcome the current ongoing crisis in the university. Those who are working on pacifying the situation in the university and various issues.

However, the ongoing semester final exams of the students have not started. As there is no administration, it is not clear when the examination can start. Meanwhile, the result of the semester final exam is stuck. There is no proctoral body to control the discipline of the university.

As a result, the university's teachers-students-officers-employees are asking for a vice-chancellor soon. They say that if the vice-chancellor is appointed, the ongoing crisis in the university will be removed. Academic and administrative work will be active.

According to university sources, the vice-chancellor may be appointed in this August. In that case, ordinary students want to see their university teacher as the vice-chancellor.

The students said that if the teachers of their university are appointed as vice-chancellors, the study environment will be improved. He will try to move the university forward. Because he holds the university in his heart. Moreover, he has full knowledge and is aware of all the information about the university.

Note that Habiprabi started its journey on September 11, 1999. Seven Vice-Chancellors have served in the university in its 25-year journey. On August 5, Habiprabi's seventh vice-chancellor Professor Dr. M Kamruzzaman resigned.
