The top leaders of the 12-party alliance commented that the people of Bangladesh are standing up against hegemony, aggression and the killing of democracy.
The leaders made this comment while distributing the leaflets of the 12-party alliance in Rajshahi on Sunday.
The leaders said, we are seeing in the world media and the media of the country that poisoning has been found in 527 products of India. The European Union has banned them. Recently, the UK, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka have also seized Indian products. Two of their drugs have been found to contain anti-cancer ingredients. Singapore, Hong Kong have closed them.
The top leaders of the 12-party alliance said that we are not against the people of India. We want to be India's friend. But the friend who exploits us, the friend who does not give us our fair share of farakka, teesta, tipai, can he stop? Can never be friends. So we want to boycott Indian products and say, stop border killings, avoid aggressive policies, stop interfering in Bangladesh politics. Because there will be democracy in your country, and you will make sure that there is no democracy in my country, the people of Bengal will never accept it.
The leaders said, we do not accept aggression, we do not accept border killings, we will boycott Indian products. This social movement should be delivered door to door. The leaders also said that with the aim of creating public awareness about the poisoning of Indian products, these leaflets will be distributed to every house in Bangladesh.
