Pro-Awami League lawyers protested in front of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court in Dhaka.

At that time, the hearing was going on in the court. After the hearing was over, Farooq Khan was being taken from the courtroom to the court cell by the police. Then 20 to 25 lawyers and some youth started shouting slogans in front of the court. The pro-Awami lawyer and others left after the police from Kotwali police station arrived.

Dhaka's Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Enamul Haque Khan said, this afternoon suddenly several pro-Awami lawyers and youths were protesting in front of the CMM court in Dhaka. After receiving the news, he went before the court. At this time Md. A person named Nahid was arrested and taken to the police station. He is a relative of Awami League leader Abdur Razzak.
