Providing humanitarian assistance to hundreds of families affected by heavy rains in Guimaras Region

Hundreds of families in various areas including Hajipara, Amtali Para, Barapilak and Hafchari under Guimara Region of Khagrachari have been affected by heavy rains and landslides for several days. Along with that, the working people of those areas become unemployed.

On Sunday (August 25) morning, 24 Artillery Brigade Guimaras Region Commander Brigadier General Md rushed to inquire about the affected families. Raisul Islam After the visit, he distributed food items among hundreds of local families.

At this time, he said, besides maintaining law and order, the Bangladesh Army stands by the helpless people of the country to face any disaster in the country. In continuation of that, army personnel have continued the distribution of food items in addition to rescuing people trapped in water in every flood-affected area under Guimaras Region. He promised that the Bangladesh Army will continue such humanitarian activities in the future as in the past.
