South Africa's parliament has elected Cyril Ramaphosa to a second term as president after agreeing to form a coalition with the African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Alliance (DA). Ramaphosa of the National Congress defeated Julius Malema of the left-wing party Economic Freedom Fighters in the parliamentary vote last Friday.
