A schoolboy named Raju Sheikh (12) went missing after taking a bath in the Chitra river of Sadar Upazila of Narail. As of writing this report on Wednesday (May 15) morning, he was not found.
The missing Raju Sheikh is the son of Saifur Rahman of Barashula village and a class 5 student of the local Barashula primary school.
According to local sources, Raju was swept away by the river after taking a bath in Chitra river on Tuesday evening. At that time, the people of the surrounding area searched a lot but could not find him. Later the fire service was informed.
Masud Rana, station officer of Narail Fire Service, said that the rescue operation was started at night after receiving the information. However, the missing schoolboy has not been found so far.
