The Meteorological Office has said that rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder or thunder may occur at some places in different parts of the country for the next three days.
This information was given in the next 72-hour forecast given by the Meteorological Department at 6 pm on Saturday.
According to the forecast, till 6 pm on Sunday (May 12) many places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal Divisions and some places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet Divisions may experience temporary gusty or windy rain or thundershowers, as well as scattered showers at some places. There may be hail. Day temperatures may drop slightly and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
On Monday (May 13) till 6:00 p.m., there may be temporary rain or thundershower with gusty winds at many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and at some places of Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, along with scattered hailstorm at some places. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
On Tuesday (May 14) till 6 pm there may be temporary rain or thundershower at one or two places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere in the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
An extension of western low pressure is also noted extending from West Bengal to northwest Bay of Bengal.
The extended 5 (five) day weather conditions state that day and night temperatures may increase further.
