Shakib is being framed in a false case: Mushfiq

Former national team captain Mushfiqur Rahim commented that Shakib Al Hasan is being implicated in a false case.

On Monday, Mushfiq wrote on social media about Shakib, 'As a teammate and brother, I am with Shakib in his tough times and I do not support the false allegations leveled against him, as I know he will never indulge in inhuman acts. We're always on your side, friend.'

While playing in Rawalpindi, Shakib set the record for highest wickets in international cricket as a left-arm spinner. In this context, Mushfiq said, 'Congratulations to Shakib for making the record of taking most wickets as a left-arm spinner. I have said many times and will say again that I am proud to play with a champion like Shakib.'

Muminul Haque Sourav posted about Shakib on Facebook yesterday. Muminul wrote, 'Shakib Al Hasan has been representing the country in cricket for about 18 years. How many victories have come in the country's cricket! That man is now accused of a false case!'

Former captain of the national team Muminul also wrote, 'Sakib Bhai, accused in the case of murder of garment workers, was playing in Canada at that time. He was not in the country for a long time. Such a case in the name of Shakib Bhai is unexpected. Such incidents can spoil the image of cricket in the country. Harassment by questionable cases is unexpected in Bangladesh where I saw the new Bangladesh in the blood of the students. We want everyone to get justice in new Bangladesh. Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has always been, is and will always be supported. After overcoming the crisis, Shakib Bhai will surely be soaked in the love of the fans as before.'
