Shimul went to the OT feeling happy after hearing the 'small operation', he returned as a dead body

'Your nose bone has increased a little, it is not a big problem, a small operation will fix it, only half an hour operation' – the patient went to the operation theater smiling after hearing the words of the doctor. This is the incident at Comfort Hospital in Kalabagan of the capital on August 20. Shimul was not taken out of the operation theater even after 2 hours after talking about 30 minutes. Then his family rushed into the operation theatre. He went and saw that his nose was bloody. Not breathing.

In this incident, a case of negligent death was registered at Kalabagan police station. 4 people have been accused in the case. They are Professor Dr. Zaheer Al-Amin (62), Dr. Iftekharul Kawshar (37), Comfort Diagnostic Center and Nursing Home Chairman Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan (60), Comfort Diagnostic Center Managing Director Samia Islam (50).

According to the statement of the case, Dr. Comfort Diagnostic Center and Nursing Home on Green Road with nose problem on August 12. Shimul went to Zahir al-Amin. Shimul's niece said about the incident. Riaz Islam said he was taken to the OT at 11:30 pm for the operation and was rendered unconscious with anesthesia. At 12 o'clock in the night, Dr. brought many small pieces of bones. Zaheer said that uncle's operation is over, after 10 minutes he will be brought to the post operative room. However, even after we waited for almost half an hour, Mama was not brought to the post-operative room. Despite asking them repeatedly, they behaved suspiciously and entered the OT with ECG machines and other items. After we waited anxiously for more than half an hour, we saw some people from the hospital leaving in a hurry. As we suspected, we went straight to operation theater at 1:30 am and saw that my uncle was bleeding profusely from his nose and he was not breathing.

Then Dr. Zaheer and Dr. Iftekhar told relatives, 'Sorry, your patient has died'. While speaking, I Dr. Zaheer Al Amin's mouth smelled of alcohol. A total of 1 lakh rupees was spent on the operation. They have already paid 35 thousand rupees to the hospital authorities for the test.

According to Shimul's family sources, he had no physical problems. He was a perfectly healthy man and exercised regularly. When he was taken to the hospital, he was completely healthy and Hashi entered the room happily talking to the doctors.

Although a case of negligent death has been filed in this incident, the family of the deceased said that they wanted to file a case of murder. The police did not give a murder charge in the case.

Two of the accused two doctors were taken to the court on Thursday and the family requested to be detained in jail. However, the court granted bail to both of them.
