Shopkeepers of Bashundhara City blocked the road and protested

The entire road is closed from Panthpath signal in the capital to Sark Foara intersection in Karwan Bazar.

The traders and shopkeepers of Bashundhara City Shopping Mall located on this road have protested.

They are protesting various irregularities including demanding the resignation of the shopping mall in-charge.

Today on Monday afternoon, it can be seen that some people are standing with banners at Panthpath signal. It reads, 'Despotism tyrant in charge Karim resigns'.

Some of the agitating mobile phone traders said, despite the objections, the mobile market was moved to the basement of Bashundhara City from last January. This place is very much like a suffocation situation. Buyers gasp. Basement-1 has only toilet facilities, but not in 2. Everyone has to go upstairs if necessary.

Businessmen claim that there is no government permission in the basement, so they face trouble when they go to the government office for any license-related work. Couldn't protest about anything. Market in-charge Mohsin Karim could not tell of any problem. He would threaten to close the shop and abuse.

Another mobile phone trader named Shahadat Hossain said that they have been protesting in front of the market since 9 am. Bashundhara asked the group for their discussion, but they will not sit for the discussion without the resignation of the in-charge.

Traders and workers were protesting in front of the market till 1 o'clock. In front of the entrance stairs of the building, besides the people of Bashundhara City, there are army, BGB members.
