A skull and bone fragments were found from the 6th floor of Gazi Tires factory, which was burnt by miscreants in Rupganj, Narayanganj. After the public hearing yesterday Sunday afternoon, the relatives of the missing persons recovered the skull and bone pieces from the upper floor of the 6-storey factory. Later they were handed over to the police.

After the public hearing at the main gate of the factory, relatives protested by blocking the Dhaka-Sylhet highway for a while, demanding to find the missing persons. Later, Hamidur Rahman, head of the investigation committee, with the help of the army and BGB, explained them and brought them to the factory from the road. Then the relatives of the missing persons made a condition that they should be allowed to go forward to the burning building.

Later, the relatives of the missing persons were taken in front of the building. Ignoring the obstacles of the army and BGB members, some youths climbed up the dangerous building and recovered a skull and some parts of bones and showed it to the police.

Meanwhile, the expert team of BUET has stopped the fire service rescue operation as the factory is dangerous.

In this regard, Narayanganj District Commissioner Mahamudul Haque said that it is not possible to carry out a rescue operation as the BUET expert team has declared the building dangerous. After speaking with the factory owner authorities, if it is decided to demolish the building and remove it, then the fire service will conduct an operation.

Meanwhile, the 8-member investigation committee of the district administration has listed 78 people among the missing persons in the public hearing.
