Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser is Coordinator Mahfuz

One of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement and a student of Dhaka University Law Department. The government has appointed Mahfuz Alam as Special Assistant to the Principal Adviser on contractual basis.

This information was informed in a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (August 28). Mahfuz Alam is serving as the coordinator of Lianjo Committee of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

According to the notification, Mahfuz Alam has been appointed contractually as Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser with salary and ancillary benefits applicable to the rank of Secretary to the Government for the duration of the tenure of the Chief Adviser or subject to his satisfaction (whichever occurs earlier) from the date of joining on the condition of severing working relationship with other institutions and organizations.
