Spending on entertainment centers is increasing the economy

According to the budget proposals of the next financial year, the cost of various services of amusement parks and theme parks may increase.

On Thursday (June 6) afternoon, Finance Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali gave this information in the proposed budget for the next financial year in the National Parliament.

The finance minister proposed to fix the tax rate of 15 percent instead of 7.5 percent in the case of amusement park and theme park services.

Incidentally, currently there are more than 300 amusement and theme parks in Bangladesh. The company said that the annual income of this sector is 5 thousand crores.

The finance minister presented the proposed budget for the financial year 2024-25 under the slogan 'Commitment to building a happy, prosperous, developed and smart Bangladesh' under the chairmanship of Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury and in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The size of the budget has been fixed at 7 lakh 97 thousand crores.
