Students of Haluaghat are collecting money for flood victims

Ordinary students of Haluaghat upazila are collecting money to help the flood affected people in different districts of the country. Common students of various schools, colleges and universities are raising cash on their own initiative.

On Saturday (August 24) morning, money is being collected by visiting various shops and establishments in the municipal market. Many students are working there as volunteers. Students have collected seventy thousand rupees till morning.

This initiative has been taken to stand by the people of Feni, Comilla, Noakhali and other districts of the country who have been affected by the worst floods in recent memory due to the heavy pressure of the mountain torrents coming down from India and the continuous rains.
