The International Criminal Tribunal was reconstituted with the appointment of Advocate Tajul Islam as Chief Prosecutor.
This information was given in a notification by the Law Ministry on Saturday (September 7).
Apart from Tajul Islam, four more lawyers have been appointed as prosecutors in the tribunal. They are – Mizanul Islam, Gazi Monawar Hossain Tamim, BM Sultan Mahmud, Abdullah Al Noman.
According to the notification, Advocate Tajul Islam will enjoy the same status as Attorney General.
