That Ramadan who was crying in front of the mosque got a new autorickshaw

With the help money sent from the country and abroad, the driver Ramzan Ali, who lost his rickshaw in front of the Lalmonirhat railway station Jame Masjid, has finally put a smile on his face. Ramzan Ali received about 2 lakh 90 thousand taka from different places. Out of this, he bought a battery operated autorickshaw for Tk 1 lakh 70.

Ramzan Ali lives in a rented house in North Saptana area of ​​Lalmonirhat city with his wife, one son, one disabled daughter and elderly parents. His father's name is old Hussain Ali.

Before this, Imam Ramzan Ali Huzur of Lalmonirhat railway station Jame Masjid collected donations and bought a rickshaw for 36 thousand taka. And that rickshaw was stolen while praying in the mosque.

Ramzan Ali got about 2 lakh 90 thousand taka help from different parts of the country after that news was broadcasted by several mass media of the country. Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner Ullah and Municipal Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan bought him a battery-powered auto-rickshaw with that money.

Ramzan Ali confirmed the matter on Saturday (June 8) morning and said, “I got help from people all over the country with the help of journalists.” This is why I have respect and love for media workers. If not for them, my family would have had to live without food.

Wife Rupali Begum said that an auto-rickshaw was bought with the money given by people and it got lost while praying. With your help we have bought another autorickshaw. Thank you for that.

Lalmonirhat Municipal Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan gave a check of Tk 30 thousand. Besides, Lalmonirhat Zilla Parishad Chairman Abu Bakkar Siddique Shyamal handed over a check of Tk 20,000. Earlier, an autorickshaw was stolen from in front of Jame Masjid at Lalmonirhat railway station a week ago.

Lalmonirhat District Commissioner Mohammad Ullah said, I came to know through media workers that an autorickshaw belonging to Ramzan Ali was lost. When the news of helpless Ramzan Ali came out, many people helped him with money. We have assured to arrange a house for him through the district administration.

Lalmonirhat Municipal Mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan said that the municipality was supposed to buy him an autorickshaw. Later he bought an auto rickshaw with the money given to him by various people from home and abroad.
