The summit of the top leaders of the seven-nation regional alliance to be held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, was decided to be postponed due to the internal political situation in the country. The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the member countries of the decision to postpone the BIMSTEC summit informally on Thursday afternoon.
