The Board of Regents reiterated their agreement to keep Yabiprabi free of party politics

Politic-free Jessore University of Science and Technology (YAB) The members of the Board of Regents, the highest policy-making forum of YAB, have again expressed their agreement to keep the campus free of lewd politics.

On Friday (January 17) in the first meeting of the reconstituted Board of Regents after August 5 and the 104th meeting of the university, in view of the demands of the students and the implementation of the law of the university, everyone agreed.

According to the sources of Regent Board, political activities were going on in the university even though party-based student politics was banned in Yabi Prabi. During this time, several students were tortured in the university. Apart from student torture, they were involved in various misdeeds in the university.

However, after August 5, the 103rd meeting of the Board of Regents again banned all political activities. Yesterday all the members of the Board of Regents again expressed their agreement on banning political activities. They emphasized on the proper implementation of University Act. They expressed their commitment to make Yabiprabi a world-class university.
