The chief adviser sat in a meeting with the secretaries


The chief advisor of the interim government sat in a meeting with the secretaries for the first time after the current government assumed responsibility. Muhammad Yunus.

The meeting started on Wednesday (September 4) at around 11 am at the office of the Chief Adviser.

Earlier on Tuesday (September 3), the Cabinet Department had written to all the Senior Secretaries, Chief Coordinators (SDG) and Secretaries to attend the meeting.

According to the sources of the Cabinet Department, the agenda of the meeting has included the role of public administration in the implementation of the government's policies and programs.

It is known that usually the general situation of the country will be discussed in the secretary's meeting beyond the few important agendas. There is no detailed agenda for this meeting.

Responsible sources of the secretariat associated with the organization of the meeting said that after the current government took charge, the central administration and the field administration did not start working in harmony. Because after the fall of Sheikh Hasina, various government institutions of the country, including districts, upazilas, have been subjected to unprecedented attacks. They can be urgently repaired.

Incidentally, the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned from the country on August 5 due to the anti-discrimination student movement. The cabinet was dissolved that day. The next day on August 6, the President dissolved the 12th National Parliament. Then the interim government was sworn in on August 8. The Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus. There are 21 advisers in this government.
