It is to be noted that the husband of army soldier Azizul Haque (24) was arrested and handed over to the police while he was running away after killing his wife and child at the Wisha Residential Hotel in Banani, Bogra Shajahanpur. The murder happened on Saturday night. The arrested Azizul Haque (24) is the son of farmer Hamidur Rahman of Heutnagar village of Dhunat upazila of Bogra. The dismembered bodies of the victim of this brutal murder and her child were recovered from the scene, but the dismembered head was not recovered until 9 pm on Sunday. However, according to the statement of the killer's father, the diving team of the fire service conducted a rescue operation in the Karatoa river but could not recover the head.

Rabiul Islam, manager of Wisha Residential Hotel, said that Azizul Haque went to room 301 of Wisha Residential Hotel in Banani on Saturday evening saying that he would stay in the hotel for three days with his wife Asha Moni (20) and child Abdullah Al Rafi (1). Azizul hired the hotel room by introducing himself as Miraj and his wife Tama and their house in Pirganj, Rangpur. Azizul went home leaving his wife and children at 10 pm. Azizul tried to escape after returning to the hotel at 9 am the next day and paying the rent to the manager. But as he had no wife and children with him, the hotel authorities suspected Azizul and informed the police. The police came and recovered the headless body of infant Rafi and the body of wife Asha Moni wrapped in a bag from under the bed of room number 301 of the hotel. Since then, the issue of double murder has spread around.

Ashadul, the father of deceased Asha Moni, a resident of Naruli Purbapara area of ​​Bogra city, said that her daughter-in-law came to visit her house last Thursday. From there, Azizul left for his home last Saturday afternoon with his wife and children. Then at 10 pm, Azizul called his father-in-law and told him that he sent Asha Moni home and went to the doctor because his body felt bad. After that he called home and found out that Asha Moni had not gone home. Searching all night.

Shajahanpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Shahidul Islam along with senior police officers and members of various intelligence agencies visited the spot. Azizul Haque admitted to killing his wife and children during the preliminary interrogation of the police. He also said that the child's head was cut off and thrown into the Karatoa river.

Bogra District Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Media and Spokesperson) Sadar Circle Sharafat Islam said, Azizul killed his wife and child at any time of the night, after killing his wife and child, put the body in a sack and kept it in the bathroom of the room and cut off the son's head and threw it under the railway bridge in the Karatoa river in the city's Chelopara in the morning. gives A team of police took Azizul along and started searching the river to recover the head. Later, a diving team of fire service was brought from Rajshahi to recover the child's head and they carried out a rescue operation in the Karatoa river around the railway bridge in the city from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. He said that the operation was suspended as of today and the operation will be resumed from tomorrow Sunday morning. Bogra Superintendent of Police Sudeep Kumar Chakraborty PPM, BPM, (Promoted Additional DIG) visited the spot and said, looking at the surrounding conditions, it seems that Azizul Haque killed his wife and children in a pre-planned manner. In the initial interrogation, Azizul Haque said that he killed his wife and children due to marital discord. Legal action will be taken in this case.
