The death of the old man in the stream All Bengal

The fire service members recovered the dead body of Indralal Chakma (62) from Jhiri near Talukdar Para in Bandarban. The body was recovered around 3:30 pm on Tuesday (August 20).

The deceased Indralal Chakma was a resident of Tourism Chakma Para in Reicha Union of Bandarban Sadar Upazila.

Locals said that Indralal Chakma went to do jum cultivation on Monday morning. While returning home after work in the afternoon, he slipped in the stream of rain water and fell into the river. Later, the family and relatives found his body in Jhiri while searching and informed the fire service. The fire service personnel reached the spot and recovered the body of Indralal Chakma with the help of locals.

Bandarban Fire Service Station Officer Abdul Rauf said, an old man died in the rain. The dead body was recovered and handed over to the family as the spot was very inaccessible.
