The elected chairman bathed with 20 liters of milk

Rajbari's Baliakandi upazila parishad election, after winning the post of chairman, the joint general secretary of the upazila Awami League took a bath with milk. Ehsanul Hakim Sadhan.

On Wednesday morning at the house of the newly elected chairman, his supporters and locals showered him with 20 liters of milk. Instantly the picture of her bathing with milk went viral on social media Facebook.

A supporter of Ehchanul Hakeem Sadhan named Kazi Salman Ahmed posted the photo on his Facebook ID and wrote, 'Allah has given you the highest honor of Pak Upazila. As today he was purified by bathing in milk. Keep this sanctity forever, I beseech you. We who were your companions will build our dream Baliakandi as a model upazila. Good luck to you dear big brother.'

In the election, Ehsanul Hakim Sadhan Baliakandi upazila parishad chairman won by getting 42 thousand 680 votes. His nearest rival former chairman Vir Muktijoddha Abul Kalam Azad got 41 thousand 680 votes in pineapple symbol and was defeated.

Ehsanul Hakim said, “I bathed with milk to protect the welfare of my supporters and local residents.” For 15 long years my rival established monarchy in this upazila. The satisfaction with which the public felt after my victory seemed as if they had been in prison for so long. Now it seems, they are roaming in the open air. Proof of that, thousands of people are coming to my house since morning. People love me a lot, they have proved their love by voting.
