Chief Advisor Professor. BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed commented that the hope of the nation was not fulfilled at the time of Muhammad Yunus elections.
Chief Advisor Professor Dr. He made the remarks on Friday (June 5th) in response to Muhammad Yunus's statement.
Salahuddin Ahmed said, “The announcement of the nation has not met the expectations of the nation. More than 5 parties want elections in December. The government could have been elected by January if the government wanted, but that was not done. Most parties in Bangladesh wanted an election by December.”
Speaking to the nation on Friday evening, the chief adviser to the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus. In the speech, he announced that the national election will be held in the first half of April next year.
The chief adviser said, “After reviewing the ongoing reform activities related to justice, reform and elections, I declare to the countrymen that the next national election will be held on one day in the first half of April 2021. The Election Commission will provide a detailed roadmap to you at the appropriate time.”
In response, Salahuddin also criticized the explanation of the chief adviser on the port management of the interim government. “He has argued about giving port to foreigners,” he said. For this, all parties need to be talked. ”
