The moon of the month of Shawwal was sighted in Cox's Bazar. As the moon was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Tuesday, it was confirmed that Eid will be celebrated on Thursday (April 11).

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr moon sighting, the National Moon Sighting Committee held a meeting at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram on Tuesday at 6:30 PM.

The meeting was presided over by the President of the National Moon Sighting Committee and the Minister of Religious Affairs. Faridul Haque Khan. In the meeting, the date of Eid-ul-Fitr celebration was decided by reviewing the news of the sighting of the moon in the month of Shawwal of 1445 Hijri. He said that the deputy directors of the foundation from 64 districts said that the moon was not seen by calling the Dini Dawat and Culture Department of Baitul Mukarram Islamic Foundation. In this situation, 30 days of Ramadan will be completed on Wednesday. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Thursday (April 11), the first day of Shawwal.

Meanwhile, the moon of the holy month of Shawwal was not sighted in Saudi Arabia on Monday (April 8). This time, the 30 days of the holy month of Ramadan have been completed on Tuesday. As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Saudi on Wednesday.

The United Arab Emirates and Qatar have also announced that Tuesday will be the last day of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday.
